‘5 Seconds Of Summer’s Guitarist, Michael Clifford, Burned During Concert

It wasn’t business as usual when 5 Second Of Summer took the stage to perform recently at a London Concert that was held on 13th June.

During the concert, the band’s guitarist, Michael Clifford caught fire and he actually burned himself, as scary as it may sound.

So how did all this happen? Well, while performing on the stage, the “5 Seconds of Summer” guitarist, Michael Clifford, accidentally walked into a “pyrotechnics display” which was placed on the stage. What followed next surprised many including the guitarist himself.

Following this scary ordeal, the London concert for “5 Seconds of Summer” had to be cut shot cause the 19-year old guitarist needed to be attended to medically. Luckily, for him the injuries were not that severe as previously thought as he only walked away with burns to his head. His quick action, which saw him run of the stage, after walking into a pyrotechnics display, was a very bright idea that saved him from suffering severe burns on his head.

The concert was being held at the Wembley Arena in London. When the shocking and scary incident occur, the band was singing their hit song “She Looks So Perfect”. The guitarist, assuming he was locked in the moment, moved in a little bit close to the display and as a result the unavoidable incidence occurred.

Following his incident, Ashton Irwin, a member of the band, came to the stage and stated that the concert will be cut shot due to the incident.

We do wish him a quick recovery.
