Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley was born on 26 March, 1985 in Teddington, London, England. Her parents, Sharman Macdonald and Will Knightley are actors as well. They lived in Richmond, where Keira attended Stanley Junior School later Teddigton School and Finally Esher College. When she was three years old, she wanted to start her acting career and wanted her agent! At the age 6, she was diagnosed with dyslexia, but that didn’t interfere with her acting. During her childhood, she appeared in numerous productions. Some of the most popular are: United States, written by Ian McShane, her drama teacher and After Juliet, written by her mother. While she was on college, Keira was focused on art, English literature and history, but after just one year, she left Esher College so she could work on her acting career.

Keira officially started her acting career in 1995. Her first important roles were in movies: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) and The Hole (2001). But, she achieved the real success after her role as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies! Some of her most popular and awarded movies are: Pride & Prejudice (2005), Atonement (2007), Never Let Me Go (2010), Anna Karenina (2012) and many others. Her latest movie was The Imitation Game.

Keira dated with Del Synnott, from 2001 to 2003. Her next relationships were with Jamie Dornan from 2003 to 2005 and Rupert Friend from 2005 to 2010. In 2011 she started dating with James Ringhton. They married on 4 May, 2014. Later that year, they announced that Keira is pregnant. There were several rumors that Keira is anorexic, which she denied! She even sued the Daily Mail for making that statement.
