The American singer and actress Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter was born on September 4, 1981.Daughter of parents Mathew Knowles (father) and Tina Knowles (mother), Beyonce is a resident of Texas.
As a child she used to perform in many singing and dancing competitions. In the late 1990s, Beyonce and her R&B group “Destiny’s Child” rose to fame with Beyonce as their vocal lead. Beyonce is also known as a philanthropist and feminist. One of the major charity she has worked for is the Survivor Foundation for giving shelter for victims after the massive attack of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She has also worked with the US First Lady Michelle Obama for the campaign working for child obesity. Her charity works have reached many other needy faces as well.
